Prestige Interiors successfully transformed a 1970s-era 2000m² office space into a modern Sixth Form learning centre for Kingston Grammar School. This self-funded project provides temporary accommodation for students and staff while the school prepares for a new-build relocation.

Despite initial challenges, including a reduced timeframe, the project was completed on time and within budget, underscoring the team’s commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Challenges

• Tight Schedule: Initially planned for 16 weeks, unforeseen delays in lease and legal agreements reduced the timeframe to just 11 weeks.
• Sustainability Goals: The school’s project required energy-efficient solutions and waste minimisation strategies to align with long-term environmental objectives.

Solutions

To address these challenges, Prestige Interiors implemented the following solutions:

• Rapid Turnaround: Prestige Interiors worked tirelessly to meet the tight deadline, delivering a high-quality refurbishment ahead of schedule.
• Sustainable Design: Repurposed carpet and ceiling tiles were incorporated to reduce waste and costs. Advanced lighting, air conditioning, and air-handling systems were installed to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational expenditures.
• Enhanced Learning Environment: The transformed space now features state-of-the-art facilities designed to foster productivity and comfort for both students and staff.
